However, most LED lights and all CFL lights are non-dimmable, and the light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in that case, which may cause flickering when using the dimming function. Ceiling Fan Remote Control with Light Dimmer: This remote controller is designed for 3-speed ceiling fans to separately control the fan speed and light brightness. It adds remote control compatibility to any fan, with four buttons (HI, MED, LOW, OFF) to control the speed of the fan and off. Please note that this remote does not have a Reverse button, and the light on/off button just controls the brightness of halogen and incandescent lamps on/off. LED/CFL lights are not dimmable, and the remote only controls the on/off function in that case.
