TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Ensure Your Fan Is Compatible
- Turn off power to the ceiling fan at the circuit breaker.
- Remove the receiver unit from the ceiling fan canopy.
- Flip the dip switches on the receiver in the opposite direction, then reinstall the receiver.
- Flip the dip switches on the remote control to match the receiver.
- Turn the power back on to the ceiling fan.
If the remote still does not operate the fan, the issue may be with the receiver or the fan itself.
Differences Between Minka-Aire Three-Speed Remotes
RC210 - One set of four dip switches - Compatible with Minka Aire Concept Fans made before 2015, Milano and Ultra Max Series
RCS213 - Two sets of eight dip switches - Compatible with Wave fans, Minka Aire fans with manual reverse switch on motor
RCS212 - Two sets of eight dip switches - Compatible with post-2015 Concept fans, Minka Aire fans with reverse via remote control
IMPORTANT: - These remotes are designed for Minka-Aire fans only and will not work with non-Minka Aire fans.
